The Treasurer is an overseer of all of the money in the city. The Treasurer holds an elected position for four years and has no voting power in the city council meetings.

The Treasurer and the Finance Manager work together to:

• Monitor money funds
• Put money in interest accounts
• Do the budget
• Work on special projects
