Bike Pump Track

The Salida Community has wanted a pump track and bike park since it lost the "Home Run Pumptrack" 10 years ago. The community's love of biking has grown tremendously in recent years, and groups like Salida Bike Park and Salida Mountain Trails are continually educating users and advocating for additional amenities. 

Salida Bike Park has recently begun fundraising for a pump track and other features to be placed in Centennial Park. Their last Ski and Bike swap was successful enough to raise funds needed to ensure that an intermediate/advanced pump track will be added to Centennial Park this summer. It is currently under construction (see picture) with a projected finish date before FIBArk.

As Salida continues to work towards building a dedicated bike park, the City will also be adding other features at Centennial Park to help people learn and play on bikes and other wheeled devices. Most recently, the City installed a modular pump track in Centennial Park for users to take advantage of different areas and additional features in the park.
