Salida, CO — At the June 17th Council Meeting, the Salida City Council decided to keep F Street between 2nd and 3rd Streets open to vehicular traffic until construction on the adjacent block, between 2nd and G Street, is completed.

The decision was made in response to traffic safety concerns and is intended to help maintain safer traffic flow through the downtown area during the ongoing project. Construction on the 2nd to G Street block is expected to be completed around July 9, 2025, pending any unforeseen delays.

The City appreciates the public’s patience and understanding during this period and remains committed to ensuring safety in downtown Salida.
