Experience one of the largest indoor hot springs pools in the nation at Salida Hot Springs Aquatic Center. Managed by the City of Salida’s Parks and Recreation Department, this family-friendly oasis boasts two inviting pools filled with pure, mineral-rich spring water. The large 25-meter, six-lane Lap Pool is ideal for fitness at a temperature of 82-84 degrees, while the smaller Leisure Pool offers a cozy 97-100 degrees for pure relaxation. Private soaking pools are also available for a more intimate experience. Fed directly from underground springs located 4.5 miles away, these pools have welcomed guests for over 80 years. Built in 1937 as part of a Federal Works Progress Administration project, this historical site is a testament to resilience and community, having provided employment to nearly 200 men during the Great Depression.

Discover a variety of aquatic fitness classes tailored for all levels, including Splash! fitness and water yoga. Dive into private or group swim lessons for skill building, or drop into a lap lane for focused training. For a more personal experience, unwind in one of our private soaking baths, or explore paddle sports classes to develop your skills. To add excitement to your experience, check out the thrilling diving board that is open on weekends. The aquatic center also hosts an exciting lineup of special events throughout the year, fun for the whole family. Located close to local dining and lodging, it’s a perfect retreat for a quick, refreshing dip or a day of relaxation.
