A new community survey is active and available for residents to share their feedback about city operations and services. Resident participation will directly impact decisions affecting the community now and in the future. Make your voice heard by sharing your opinion and participating in the survey. Your answers are completely confidential, and the survey will only take 10-15 minutes to complete.

Beginning on Wednesday, March 2, some residents will receive a text message alert with a link to complete the survey online. Additionally, anyone interested in taking the survey may do so by visiting the following link at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SALIDA_LIVE or pick up a hard copy from City Hall (448 E First Street, Suite 112). The deadline to complete the survey is Sunday, March 20.

Survey questions include:

  • Your opinion about the direction of the city
  • Your top issues, priorities, or problems affecting the city
  • Budget priorities
  • Satisfaction with city departments, programs and services
  • Growth management and affordable housing
  • Transportation
  • And more!

These are important topics that impact residents, and your feedback will help guide the city’s long-term and strategic planning decisions for years to come.

If you have any questions about the survey, please contact Miriam Luna Gonzalez in the City Administrator’s Office at 719-530-2628 or email miriam.lunagonzalez@cityofsalida.com.

A third-party research firm has been working closely with city staff to determine the survey questions and will help administer the survey. Results will be shared with City Council, staff and the community in late April.
