The City of Salida would like to inform residents that Xcel Energy has rescheduled the previously planned power outage. The updated outage dates are Tuesday, June 17 through Wednesday June 18, 2025, from 11:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. This overnight schedule is intended to help reduce the impact on customers. An automated outbound call was sent on June 12, at 11:00 a.m. to notify all affected customers of the rescheduling. These calls are directed to the phone number associated with each customer's account.A second call reminder will be sent closer to the new outage date. While any disruption in service is inconvenient, we appreciate Xcel Energy’s efforts to minimize the impact by selecting overnight hours. We thank our residents for their patience and understanding.
