The historic SteamPlant Event Center, located along the Arkansas River in downtown Salida, is a versatile and iconic venue that blends rich 19th-century industrial architecture with modern event amenities. Originally built in 1887, the space hosts weddings, conferences, concerts, art exhibits, and community gatherings in its ballroom, theater, art galleries, conference rooms, and riverside plaza.
Just two blocks downriver in Riverside Park, the Salida Rotary Scout Hut offers a charming, intimate setting for smaller celebrations, meetings, workshops, and social events. With indoor-outdoor spaces including a river-view deck, and lawn, it’s ideal for gatherings up to about 80 guests.
