Overview
In November 2025, 63% of Salida voters approved a measure to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic on F Street (Sackett Street to the mid-200 block) from May through September in 2026–2028. In response, City Council has directed staff to reauthorize the seasonal closure of this portion of F Street.
The City of Salida Parklet Program allows businesses to expand into the public right-of-way to create vibrant, pedestrian-friendly spaces while maintaining accessibility and safety. The closure will run from May 21, 2026 through September 22, 2026.
