The City Clerk is responsible for a wide range of duties related to City elections, City Council Regular and Work Session meetings, notices of meetings, official meeting minutes and all resolutions and ordinances approved by the City Council.
The City Clerk also processes various licenses for the City, liquor, marijuana, special event liquor, liquor and marijuana license renewals and tobacco licenses, outdoor vending permits, and CORA requests. Forms and relevant Salida Municipal Code information is listed below.
Deputy City Clerk
The Deputy City Clerk is a point of contact for the general public. The Deputy Clerk manages Liquor License renewal applications, Short Term Rental licensing, arborist licenses and amplified sound permits. The position also covers the City Clerk’s duties, when absent, and assists the City Clerk as needed in conducting City elections, managing City documents/records, responding to CORA requests, preparing City Council meeting agendas and packets.
