Why did you choose to apply for a job with the city?
I was searching for a long-term career that utilizes my love of problem-solving and serving others.
What do you hope to accomplish in your first year as deputy city clerk/court clerk?
I hope to learn and grow in this position while building positive relationships with the members of this community.
What’s your professional background?
I have previous work experience as a Legal Secretary/Office Administrator for the District Attorney’s Office in New Mexico. I have worked the past year for the 11th Judicial District as a Court Judicial Assistant for Chaffee County.
What are you most excited about in your new role?
I am excited to learn this new position and to invest my time to serve the people of the City of Salida.
Where’s your favorite place to go or thing to do in Salida?
I enjoy the many trails throughout the City of Salida and have loved the rivers and lakes that are only a short distance away.
Anything else you’d like to share about yourself?
My hobbies include spending time with my family, farming, hiking, fishing, and my dogs.
