GIS Technician

The City of Salida Public Works department is seeking a full time GIS Technician to join our team!

This position will provide oversight and maintenance of the City's GIS (Geographic Information Systems) mapping and related databases. Duties include preparing routine drawings and maps, maintaining GIS maps and databases, and providing coordination of GIS related components with other agencies. Salary Range: $56,368 - $78,936/year (hiring range up to $73,881) plus benefits, including medical/dental/vision insurance plans, 401(a) and 457 retirement plan options with employer match, Personal Time Off accrual, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability benefits, and a swim benefit at the Salida Hot Springs Aquatic Center. Deadline for applications is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Monday, January 15, 2024.  The City of Salida is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
