Smart Meter Information

The City of Salida is in a multi-year process of upgrading existing water meters to have ‘Smart Meter’ technology. This technology allows users to understand their water consumption more accurately in real-time. Managing water consumption in this way can help users establish parameters for water leak notification, provide data to support water conservation measures, and provide more details related to usage patterns and trends.

Staff will be working to provide a mapping link to help customers identify if they have a smart meter or not. In the meantime, customers are welcome to call public works for this information.
