Baseball

Registration begins in March, 3 months before the start date in May. If registration is full for your child's division, you can be put on a waitlist. Registration ends 3 weeks before our first week of practice, at which point Late Registration will open until the end of the first week of practice and a late fee will be charged. Late registration will not guarantee you a team T-shirt or a team depending on availability.

Each league is granted to have 8 weeks of practice and 6 weeks of games, with a minimum of 6 games per team. Practice times for each team depend on the availability of the team’s volunteer coach. Facilitated practices emphasize the fundamentals of the sport and are coached by experienced coaches, they're available to all division participants.

All baseball practices are held at Marvin Park, Monday through Sunday from 8 AM to 8 PM. Practice times for each team depend on the availability of the team’s coach. Tball only has practice once a week with their coach. While 8U and 10U have one coach practice and one optional facilitated practice every week. 12U has two coached practices and one optional facilitated practice every week. Both our 12U Comp and 14U Travel teams have two to three practices a week depending on coach availability. 

The first week of the season is dedicated to practices only, games do not begin until the 2nd week. Games are Monday through Thursday from 5 PM to 9 PM at Marvin Park. Field 2 is used by 14U only, while Field 3 is used by 8U, 10U, and 12U. Field 4 is also only used by TBall since they only have one game a week. 

Every division in the baseball league will have 2 to 4 teams. Each team will consist a maximum of 14 players. 

Providing a fun and educational environment for participants and parents we collaborate with the National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS) to help our volunteer coaches understand the importance of friendly competition, teamwork, and physical activity, which can help children learn new skills, develop self-confidence, and more. Additionally, we provide the parents and players with etiquette guidelines and rules to ensure that all coaches, parents, and players are treated respectfully.

When communicating with coaches and the team we use an App called Team Snap. Team Snap allows us to easily update practice schedules, and game schedules, and answer any questions your parents or participants might may have. Team Snap also allows you to see any team pictures or videos a parent may upload and see the team's game history. To download Team Snap and learn how to navigate the app click on the links below.

We are always looking for coaches! You do not need to be a parent to coach in our league. Coaches are provided with training, a refund for their child’s registration (or equivalent account credit),  a coach shirt, and all of the resources they need to successfully coach a youth sport. In return, we ask that our coaches do the following things:

• Fill out the pre-season coach survey
• Complete the pre-season coach training (4-5 hours online training)
• Pass a background check
• Follow all of our coaching guidelines
• Finish their coaching commitment for the season
• Complete an end-of-season coach survey
