Help light up the season and share your holiday spirit! The City of Salida invites residents to participate in our annual Christmas House Decorating Contest. Decorate your home, submit your entry online, and let the community decide the winners!

Contest Entry/Voting

The contest is open to all residents within Salida city limits. Homes, apartments, duplexes, and rental properties are welcome to participate with property owner or tenant permission.

Visit our online contest platform, Proxi, to submit your entry.
Enter by December 22nd, 2025.
Provide your name, address, and any required details through the Proxi form.
Ensure your home is fully decorated and ready for viewing by December 22nd, 2025.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all:

Use outdoor-rated lights and follow local electrical safety guidelines.
Keep sidewalks, alleys, and roadways clear.
Displays should be family-friendly and appropriate for all ages.
Please be mindful of neighbors when playing music or sound effects.

Judging will be done entirely by the community, online through Proxi, using the same link used to enter.

Voting opens in December 22nd, 2025
Voting closes in December 26th, 2025
Entries will be judged by the public on creativity, use of lights, theme execution, and overall visual impact.
