Overview

Salida's Volleyball League helps children develop new skills like friendly competition, teamwork, physical activity, developing self-confidence, and more. The aim of encouraging overall child development through sports supersedes any desire to top the standings.

Registration: June to September

Program Dates: September to November

Waitlist: On-time registration is not limited, but late registrations are subject to team limits

Divisions:

  • Coed 1st & 2nd grade
  • Coed 3rd & 4th grade
  • Coed 5th & 6th grade 

Teams: At least 2 teams 

Players: A maximum of 40 players per division 

Locations: Practices and Games at Salida Middle School located at 627 Oak St, Salida, CO 81201

Times: Practice occurs from 4 PM to 8:30 PM on Tuesday. Games take place on Fridays between 12 PM and 7 PM. 

Practices:

  • Coed 1st & 2nd grade have a coached practice once a week.
  • Coed 3rd & 4th grade have a coached practice once a week.
  • Coed 5th & 6th grade have a coached practice once a week.

Volunteer coach-lead practices are led by trained volunteers for their individual teams.

Games: The games do not begin until the fourth week of the season and are held on Fridays between 12 PM and 7 PM.

Team Communications: Teams and practice schedules will be sent out 3 weeks in advance, when schedules are sent out you will receive an invitation to Team Snap.
